My client is a global medical device company who has operations in 20 countries. We have a unique opportunity for a driven, ambitious Territory Manager to represent our expansive product offering of surgical Orthopaedic implants and instrumentation, 4K Video, trauma and MTF biologics. This Territory Manager will have the opportunity to service and promote company products within a defined geographic territory. This will be accomplished by developing new accounts and expanding usage of company products within current accounts to meet quotas based on company goals.
Working closely with physicians and hospital staff, you will provide exceptional service and ensure your customers’ total satisfaction with our impressive line of quality products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Service products by scheduling calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
• Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition, and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company’s products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
• Determine the needs (e.g., product and pricing), goals, product usage, and types of cases handled by specific customers by meeting with and asking in-depth questions of physicians and other hospital personnel to learn which products can best address their specific needs.
• Respond to customer needs and concerns regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., Clinical Marketing Specialist, Marketing, Sales Director) to develop optimal solutions.
• Develop relationships with key clinical personnel to make new contacts in other departments within the hospital or private clinics and to identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate future sales.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to secure purchasing commitments.
• Effectively manage evaluation, loaner, and sales sample inventory and return products in a timely manner and according to company policy.

• A strong comfort level in a clinical setting (operating rooms, hospitals)

• Excellent communication skills.
EDUCATION
• University Degree (BSc/BA in business or health related discipline preferred).
• MBA is an asset.
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Medical device sales experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends for on call trauma surgery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record & vehicle insured for business use.
