Purpose of the Role
This is a licensed Dealing Representative (DR) role with a primary purpose of retaining our existing base of investors while growing the new investor base. The DR is responsible for client service by managing existing relationships, building new relationships through strategic initiatives, and ensuring the investment process is handled with care and professionalism.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for assisting in investment activities based on the Company’s business strategy and annual targets.
· Efficiently manage a pipeline of prospects and core clientele by maintaining and nurturing an active database.
· Maintaining and expanding the investor base by assisting to host industry events, targeted phone calls, e-mail communication and sales presentations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams: sales, finance, accounting and mortgage origination.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or other related degree.
· Has passed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or the Exempt Market Proficiency Exam (EMP).
· Minimum three years’ experience in the financial industry, ideally working in private banking.
· Proven track record of confidently engaging with clients on their investment needs to ensure the highest level of client and prospective client satisfaction.
